Job Description
An outgoing personality and a pleasant, happy demeanor are key for this rewarding position. You will serve as an essential first impression representative of the community. As our Receptionist, you will monitor all entries into the community, assist residents, vendors, and staff with questions and directions to the community, answers high volume phone calls while maintaining a calm environment for all those at the front desk.
Essential Duties:
- Greet all visitors in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
- Screen and require visitors to "sign-in" at reception desk.
- Be proficient at Microsoft using email, word, and excel spreadsheets.
- Answer all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner. Routes telephone calls and takes messages, as appropriate.
- Assist residents with general office needs, i.e. postage, copies, faxes, notary public, etc.
- Assist residents and family members with activities and special events in the community
- Direct all incoming dining calls to the kitchen to place orders
- Type, copy, order and maintain inventory of office supplies.
- Maintain and update emergency contact information.
- Works well with minimal supervision
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (General Educational Development); or 2 years experience in a high volume call, multi task enviroment.
