This corporate role serves as the main point of contact for visitors, phone calls, and inquiries, providing exceptional front-line support in a professional and courteous manner. Duties include responding to inquiries from all SRG departments and communities, preparing correspondence, and ensuring a welcoming, genuine hospitality experience for all visitors. In addition to receptionist duties, this role provides administrative support to the Operations team, including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel arrangements, managing office supplies, and assisting with day-to-day office operations. The position is adaptable and proactive, with the ability to take on additional responsibilities such as project coordination, data entry, or supporting special operational tasks as needed, ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answers and screens all incoming telephone calls for company principles in a courteous and professional manner. Routes telephone calls and takes messages, as appropriate.
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills while performing all job tasks, including answering telephone, greeting guests, and recording outside requests.
- Monitors, greets and directs all visitors at the Reception Desk.
- Types, copies, orders and maintains inventory of office supplies. Performs other clerical duties.
- Generates, screens, and manages all correspondence mail, packages, etc. of principals as appropriate.
- Coordinates travel arrangements for SRG personnel if needed
- Assists with general office needs (i.e. postage, copies, faxes, notary public, etc.)
- Executes projects as assigned by Operations Department.
- Compiles data for projects.
- Maintains a professional appearance, manner, and approach while on duty.
- Maintains appropriate levels of confidentiality.
- Proofreads, edits, and re-writes when/as requested.
- Coordinates events (i.e. Birthdays, Rewards & Recognitions, etc.)
- Oversees kitchen inventory and stocks food supply

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, fax machines).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude and professionalism under pressure.
- Knowledge of senior living industry or willingness to learn is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
